What is required to prepare my site for my Bellwether?
You’ll be asked to complete a site readiness survey, complete with photos and videos of your site in preparation for your Bellwether installation. The photo and video documentation list include:
- Electrical Outlet from close range and well lit
- Photo of voltage meter reading from the receptacle
- Entire electrical or Breaker Box indicating the dedicated 50 Amp breaker
- One photo for each doorway + threshold the roaster will travel through for install
- Place where roaster will be located, including the floor
- Photo of the ports on your modem
- A video (approximately 45-seconds) showing the path the roaster will take from the street to its final location. Please narrate and show any non-standard doorway measurements, ramps, steps, thresholds, low ceilings, or narrow areas. See the video below for an example of a Walk-Through video.
Once all of your documentation is approved, we will work with you to set an install date.
What is a site readiness survey and why do I need to complete it?
We need to ensure that your site is properly set up for the roaster and we need to ensure we can safely deliver the roaster without a need for special tools. In addition to having the appropriate electrical and network requirements in place, some things to consider are doorway thresholds, steps, uneven flooring, and any other obstacles we might encounter.
Completing the site readiness survey is required to receive an install date. It also gives us an idea of what to expect when we arrive to install.
If the site does not match the details provided on the survey, we may need to reschedule or charge a fee for the special equipment required to successfully install.
What does my Bellwether Installation day look like?
On the day of install, the roaster will be delivered by our 3-party delivery partner. They will uncrate the roaster outside of your location and roll it into place inside the shop. The Bellwether Technician or 3rd Party Technician will meet you to help accept the roaster delivery and begin installing the roaster once it’s on-site. The Point of Contact (listed on your Site Readiness Survey) from your business will need to plan to be on-site the entire day of install to support the install process.
The tech will also run you through maintenance procedures and a test roast. If the roaster is being installed in a high-traffic area you might choose to limit business hours or access to pick-up depending on your unique business situation. You will be given specific details ahead of your install date with technician and timing information, but usually delivery is between 9 am and 11 am local time.
