Preventative Maintenance

How long will the Preventative Maintenance visit take?

Approximately every 120 roasts, we’ll work with you to schedule a Preventative Maintenance visit or PM Visit. The PM Visit will take  2 – 4 hours. We do our best to work within your schedule to lessen the impact on your business but please keep in mind this will depend on your space and the location of the roast. As long as your roaster is under warranty, the service is included at no additional fee!

What is the maintenance that will be performed during a PM Visit?

• Removal of skins
• Internal cleaning to remove chaff and other debris
• Replacing both the carbon and air filters
• Inspect internal components for any buildup of chaff and/or wear and tear
• Clean out cooling drum to ensure proper airflow throughout cooling phase
• Detailed cleaning of the glass front
• Testing electrical components manually
• Complete test roast
