Does the roaster need internet connectivity?

Yes, you do need to have an internet connection and wi-fi router to connect the roaster iPad to the Bellwether Labs network.  The roaster will not operate without connection to the internet.  

How fast does my internet connectivity need to be?  

You should have a commercial broadband internet connection with 40+ mbps to handle the Bellwether roaster requirement and other internet traffic in your space.

How does the roaster connect to the internet?  

The roaster communicates to the internet and the Bellwether Labs Network through a Google Hub that is provided by Bellwether.  There must be one available port of the ISP router available for the roaster.  If you do not have an open port, let us know and we will provide you with a port extender for your router.

What are the router requirements for the roaster?  

Your site must have a wi-fi router with the following requirements.

• Your router must have an open access port available.  If no port is available, let us know and we will provide a port extender.
• The roaster requires a wireless Google HUB to connect the roaster to the Market Place and facilitate roaster operation.  We will provide you with a Google HUB and Cat 5/6-cable.
• The Google wireless HUB must be installed in the same room no more than 15’ away from the roaster with no obstacles
• You must have an available 120V receptacle near the wireless HUB for power.
